Echuca Moama & District Tourism Development Association Inc., is a member association. Our key roles are to stimulate visitation to Echuca Moama & Districts and support our members. We are a not-for-profit organisation funded by membership fees, revenue-generating services, and support from local governments. Over the last year, we have designed a strategy for growth for visitation to the region, and to deliver value to members and for members. What we do
Echuca Moama Tourism (EMT) is your independent industry membership body working to grow visitation to our region.
Founded in 1988, Echuca Moama and District Tourism Development Association Inc. (EMTDA) merged with Rich River Country Tourism (RRCT) in 1992, coming together to market the region as one destination; and to become known as Echuca Moama Tourism (EMT).
35 years later, EMT is still governed by a Board of representatives from tourism, industry, operators, including skills-based Directors, and local government representatives to the Board from both sides of the river.
Our goal is to make Echuca Moama and District regional Victoria’s top destination. To achieve this, we collaborate with our members, supporting them to provide exceptional experiences to entice visitors to come back and new ones to come and explore.
We work hard to keep the Destination Echuca Moama brand promise to create visitor experiences that make memories, through supporting well-established tourism attractions and encouraging creative new businesses, experiences, and events.
By connecting with local government and other industry bodies, we leverage opportunities and develop partnerships that support our visitation and growth goals.

Which membership is best for you?
Your membership provides access to a range of automatic benefits, within each membership category, and for the first time, new for 2023, your membership allows you to utilise our expertise and industry contacts to access optional, add-on fee-based services, and opportunities to participate in destination marketing and cooperative marketing, and significant district-wide destination marketing themes, and tactics.
